Explore Our  Programs

The Montessori-based curriculum embraces the full development of the child, addressing all aspects (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual) of the whole child. Our goal at each level is to guide and nurture students to higher levels of independence. With this independence comes an increased level of responsibility as well. Students become actively engaged in their studies as they develop self-discipline and an internal sense of purpose and motivation. The classroom extends out of doors where children learn about the natural environment (explore nature, tend gardens, measure rainfall and care for our chickens and goats, etc.), play freely with friends, and participate in community events.

Each classroom presents a prepared environment with materials and activities designed for all levels of learning within that classroom. These learning activities are inviting and capture the child’s interest. Self-motivation and a love of learning are fostered by giving children the freedom to explore these materials freely.

What is a Montessori Education?

The Montessori Method is one that creates extraordinarily adaptable children. They are able to work independently and in groups. They are problem-solvers who can make choices and manage their time well. They are confident and rich with self-esteem. They love learning and they love themselves.
